I Praise Her-Daily Prompt: Praise

Teaching her to read is painful. I praise her. Teaching her to ride a bike is painful. I praise her. I build her up as all mothers should. Cautious with my words. I praise her. A slip of the tongue sends her into tears. I praise her.

As I watch her sleep, skin glowing, peaceful air, I praise her. Brave. Kind. Gentle. Sensitive. Loving. Funny.

A fragile whimper, “good morning momma.” I praise her.

  1. You have a subtle, but definite sense of humor that is matched by your clearly stated deep love for your daughter. You’re doing an excellent job because I think you are writing as yourself: Your style is unique. Every post is different. I love it!
